Tim: How are you, Alex?

Alex: Not great. I’ve got a terrible headache. I feel ill.

Tim: Did you take some aspirin?

Alex: Yes, I did. But it didn’t help.

Tim: Do you have a fever?

Alex: I’m not sure.

Tim: Do you want me to take your temperature?

Alex: Why, do you have a thermometer on you?

Tim: I do! Did you know that I had a stomach ache last week?

Alex: Oh really.

Tim: Yes, it was unbearable. My mother had to go to the pharmacy to get some pills.

But the over-the-counter stuff wasn’t strong enough, so I went to the doctor to get a

prescription for something stronger.

Alex: I think my brain is going to explode.

Tim: You’ll be fine. Let’s turn off the lights. You just lie down and I’ll go get the

thermometer.

Alex: Thanks, Tim. You’re the best.
